what do i do about a sister-in-law that is too involved in our personal business??
My sister-in-law is driving me and my husband crazy. First of all, she slapped my daughters face the other day, right in front of me, my daughter is 1 years old and she wasn't doing anything wrong. I was so angry I grabbed my daughter and waited in the car for my husband to take us home.
Then yesterday, she called my husband and she asked him if he wanted to go bowling or something...he had replied "oh we cant, we dont have any money to do that" she gasped and said "WHAT!?! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE $3000 you got for your TAX REFUND?"
--interrupting here, I really dont think this is ANY of her F-ing business, but--
My husband answered, "Well, we payed off all our credit card debt and we our begining to save for a down payment for a house."
She was really pissed for some reason (I believe out of jealousy because she is older than both of us and doesnt have half the things accomplished that we do)she said "that is so irresponsible, I cant believe you wasted all that money already!"

Joggers on road, right, dead right!
Has anything like this ever happened to you?
Recently on a highly travelled 50MPH posted road I came upon Mr. Jogger (New's Years resolution I suspect). He was at least 2 feet from the shoulder coming at approaching traffic. Now while I salute his grim-steely eyed determination (it was 20 degs. that day) I was stunned by his apparent disregard for the drivers endangering him. This road also carries a good bit of truck traffic with narrow choke points. As I approached he doggedly remained in the lane of travel. I swung around while being glared at by the macho athelete. Now if a truck had been approaching then what? This to me is RUDE despite the fact he could easily be killed by a car or truck. Have we become so enamored of our "rights" that we think a lawsuit can bring us back from the dead?

dirty neighbor
While sitting in my living room watching tv this winter I saw my neighbor come out of her house and start to shovel her dog droppings. They had been on her lawn for several weeks with no one cleaning them, let me tell you it started to stink even in the cold. So I watched this woman shovel these dropping right in to our builings parking lot where every guest or any person walks and parks. When confronted with this she said " I did not know what else to do". HOW RUDE

RUDE OUTDOOR LIGHTING
RUDE OUTDOOR LIGHTING. Who needs it ?
You've spent your money on a nice piece of property out in the country. It's nice and quiet. You can set up a telescope, look at the stars and enjoy the wildlife.
Then some jerk buys the lot next to you and puts up one of those poorly designed megawatt yardlights that blasts light all over. You can even see them if the light is below you in a valley. This is because they have no metal shade over them. The light is trespassing onto your property. Did they come and ask if a bright light would bother you? Hell no. What if I walked down to their house at night and shined a bright flashlight in their window. They'd have a cow and call the cops. They leave the blasted light on ALL night wasting energy. They must be afraid of the dark. Maybe they need a box of pacifiers. What a bunch of overgrown babies.
This is not only rude to neighbors, it's rude to the environment. I'm not saying it's wrong to have a light on outside. It just needs to shine DOWN, not sideways or up. It's been proven that too much unnatural light during sleeping hours weakens your immune system. Glaring light makes it hard to see while driving and is a nuisance to aircraft pilots. It also has adverse effects on important wildlife such as birds, amphibians and bats. These small friends of ours work for free, eating harmful pests like mosquitos that spread serious diseases. The lights continue to spread and the environment continues to go downhill.

Mommy Acts Like a Queen Bee
This Mommy walked into 3Guys Restaurant; 76th and Madison NYC, swinging her Birkin on one hip and clutching a 3 year old sweet pea on the other. The little girl was decked out in the Upper East Side Child Uniform of Papo D'anjo, Bonpoint and cashmere. Behind this Mom in her skinny jeans and heels was a Phillipino Nanny; pushing the stroller. After she began to fold it up the mother hissed 'TAKE IT WITH YOU! AND I'll call you when we're done to get her'I wonder how often this Mommy eats at home in sweatpants and a vest with her little one? Hmmm.

Mother arrested for giving 20-month-old cocaine
Not too long ago PBB posted a report on a 2-year-old and 5-year-old who were taught to smoke pot. Now I’ve got one that is even more outrageous.
Alicia Boyd-Reynolds, 21-year-old coke head, was arrested for giving her 20-month-old son cocaine. I can’t even begin to imagine why. I guess when you’re coked out of your gourd this sounds like a good idea?! Who knows?
A special thanks goes out to swilla from MDS for finding her MySpace account.
There are many little gems on her MySpace; this is just one of them…“I’m a fuckin bitch….I speak my mind……I’ll tell u how it is I don’t give a fuck bout ur feelings………My baby comes first in my life…..I don’t like white boys so fall back cracker……..I like the niggas…..the real one that”
For this little incident, it looks like she’s facing up to 35 years. Hopefully, with good behavior, she’ll be out in time to see the birth of her grand children.

Baby Boy Emasculated, Mother Blames Dachshund
In Webster, Texas, a 25-year-old mother with a history of drug abuse says she woke up and found that her miniature eight-pound, dachshund had torn off her baby boy’s genitals. (The woman’s name is being withheld by the family, and she hasn’t been charged yet.)
However, the dog has never shown any aggressiveness and often slept nestled with the baby. However, the 25-year-old woman tested positive for cocaine and methadone the day after baby was mutilated.
Holden Gothia, who is now seven weeks old, was found on his mother’s bed covered in blood - he had a deep cut in his upper leg and his genitals were severed. According to his father, Camben Gothia, the baby may never walk and faces years of operations.
Police, child protective service officials, and the doctors who examined Holden told his dad that the injuries were not consistent with dog bites because the cuts were too neat. The only person who knows what really happened - Holden’s mother - has checked herself into a drug treatment program and is not talking to police or family members.
On a positive note, the father, who has not had any contact with Holden’s mother since the attack, says he is dedicated to the baby’s recovery and to making sure Holden is safe and happy for the rest of his life.

Parents Get Sitter For Dogs, Leave Kids Home Alone
In a move that would never be described as “money”, Jacob Calero and wife Michelle De La Vega took a trip to Vegas, leaving their puppies with her mother - and their two young kids by themselves.
Joshua, 9, and Jacob, 5 - did I mention that Jacob is autistic? - were left to fend for themselves while Dad and Step-Mom were having a blast watching Danny Gans and scarfing $2.00 Shrimp Cocktails over the New Year’s weekend. (On second thought, Gans might be too classy for these two - they seem like the Fremont Street type to me). The kids’ maternal grandmother called the police, after suspecting that the parents had left the two kids alone. It seems that the parents didn’t even bother to tell the kids where they were going. (Yeah, I was thinking the same thing - “Can Jacob and Michelle be any stupider?” Yes. Yes, they can.) It turns out that this wasn’t the first time this had happened; according to Joshua, he had been left alone for a week to care his brother last fall while Dad and Step-Mom took a vacation.
On the plus side, Jacob and Michelle are cosmetic dentists, so no one should feel bad about giving them a nice punch in the mouth.

Sample post from I Saw Your Husband:

Cono & Sons (an Italian Restaurant) in Brooklyn, NY
Having dinner with my sister on Thursday night. (10/14) and this couple comes in. The guy looks on the bothered side of comfortable, in his mid forties with glasses. Moderately attractive. The woman was in her early twenties and clearly "dressed up" but in a way that first made me think this was their first date and she was trying to impress. I work in fashion and can say with certainty that not a single thing she wore went together or cost more than $20 dollars. Cheap shoes. An orange/red shade of lipstick that you just know came from the outdated discount bin at Duane Reade. My sister told me twice to quit staring at them, but there was clearly something weird. The guy looked around every thirty seconds. He looked really shifty. The woman made an attempt to hang on him, put her arm on his across the table and he shook her off and gave her a knowing glance. I told my sister, "oh he is so cheating on his wife". (wore a platinum or white gold wedding band). In the end, she did agree. It was really obvious. The man had the air of a politician. He wore a bright goldenrod & silk wide tie. They didn't stay for dessert although she wanted to. He kept checking his watch. She left disappointed, but was so obviously enamorate of him. She hung on his every word.
